I see that Jen tagged me. My first! Well let's see - fourth photo in my fourth folder. This is a picture of Emily on Christmas Morning '06. I'm not sure who put the bows on her head but what a cute little baldy! I added an extra picture of her, just for good measure. :-)

Am I supposed to tag someone now? I guess I would tag Deb and Natalie - except I haven't told Natalie about my blog yet. I'd better do that.

I've had a box of sidewalk chalk for a year now. We didn't have a spot at the old house to use it. Today (Saturday) I gave it to Katie and Nate and let them go. As you can see it was cold today. Just lovely weather for Spring Break.

They didn't do a lot in the way of drawing on the sidewalk, but when they came in I saw this. I guess it was more fun to draw on themselves, or on each other I'm not sure what the case was.

Then I spent a little time making some bows for the girls. I haven't done anything crafty in a while and it felt good. It started with my finding Emily a cute dress at Freddy's and she just didn't have a bow to wear with it for church tomorrow. I made some extras while I was at it and now we'll have to go see what matches...or go shopping again! I love the ric-rac.

I saw the how-to for these little cuties on my friend Holly's blog. I lurk on her blog, too. (I guess I better tell her about mine.) She is cute and crafty and is always positive and uplifting. If I knew how to link onto her post I would do it, but I haven't figured that out yet.

I'm in the middle of working on another post but had to add this real quick. While driving to the school just now to pick Katie up Nathan said "Mom, cars drive faster than birds." And immediately Emily chimed in "Birds don't DRIVE!" We all got a good chuckle.

So much to tell!

This post is really for the D-12 Babes! Anyone who is local and knows us will not find any new info here, but you are still welcome to read. Baby #4 is due on May 5th! (Deb, we had our ultrasounds the same day so yours must be close to mine.) We are having another girl and Nathan wasn't even upset with that news. He had already told us it was a girl. And normally I don't tell names before the baby is born but I have this time. Doug outlawed my first choice which was Lydia, sigh, so we have agreed on Samantha. I still like Lydia better. (pout!) We are excited for her arrival and I'm hoping like all my other babies that she comes a week early. So far it is looking good. I had a second ultrasound on the 16th, she weighed 5 lbs 3 oz. and I was only 33 weeks. I'm a little afraid of how big she might be! Here is a current pic, ugh!
Okay, that picture is hideous. I'll blame it on the fact that my hair isn't done, the lighting is bad, who looks good at that angle anyway?, and my 8 year old took it. In other news, WE MOVED!!!Here is the old house, looking kind of sad right now. Ignore the ugly ditch in front. We have some work to do on it to get it ready for renting and when the grass is green it really does look better. And here is our new home.

We are loving it! I was going to give a tour of the inside but that will have to wait until tomorrow. The pictures are taking forever to load and my kids are feeling neglected. Three posts in one day is not too bad though.
Okay, here I am! I have been telling people for a year that I want to start a blog. Just haven't done it yet. And everyday when I get off of my computer I feel like there is something that I needed to do. Like the universe is trying to tell me something. I am hoping this blog is it. Not that I expect a great following, first I have to be brave enough to tell people it is here. But I love reading other's blogs! Maybe I've just had a guilty conscience about being a "stalker" and not having my own. So here I am. It will take me a while to figure it all out. I feel like I have been "dumbed-down" after almost 9 years of mommy hood. But I used to be smart once and I'm sure its still in me somewhere. So, here goes....
